Yeah and LEO has shown how much it improves and enriches participation. How comment engagement and rewarding that input is now part of the sustained user growth and sociability of their mission.
I agree with you absolutely that making noise makes people (that have that power here,) change things or at the least really see the impact that those flaws have.
I believe @themarkymark removed the penalty from his tribe/project STEMGEEKS so I wonder if he would believes Hive too should do without it.
@theycallmedan is hailed as a man of the people.. AND has taken a liking to what LEO are doing.
This pretend "this is not centralised" needs to then show that the collective really does determine how things should work. I recall reading that the penalty thing was just added at some point, not even discussed. Centralised? I also recall an "askhive: what is missing on Hive" where people DID raise this issue, but... then nothing happened.
Incremental improvements for the people is what will start to generate buzz in 2021.
