Manufactured resistance by bodies that pretend to be "on the side of privacy" [MacQUAK UNI] are just there to express the thoughts of masses (clear disapproval because "mAh PriVacY") but then that in itself shuts up any mass action against it. "Oh great someone that matters is thinking like me.. I don't have to worry then.. you go you good thing.. OK my favourite program is on the NetFlix! that's all I need.. TYRANNY / AUTHORITARIANISM/ DRACONIAN ETC... ETC.. is 2020 and beyond.
That's just how it is. Any resistance? NO. There never was freedom or privacy. The technologies simply didn't yet exist to make it clear to all. Society has always been: if you're just another Joe then it neither matters to you, and you do not matter to Gov. If you are a person which might be capable of action at some point you best believe they already know all about you.

THE SYSTEM is never perfect though. So I always say, there's vulnerabilities.
