Meg was super excited when the month of November finally came. She knew Christmas was close and she couldn't wait for that date and day to arrive.
She went shopping with her mom to get Christmas decorations and gifts. On getting to the mall, she saw many more beautiful new things for Christmas than there were in the last year.
Meg was awed she wished they could go home with everything the mall has as Christmas decor and gifts. She touched almost everything as she pushed her shopping cart to and fro.
Her mom picked a lot of things and when they were done, they headed to the pay point to make their payment. There at the pay point a guy also walked up to make his payments too when his eyes met with that of Meg.
Meg was completely frozen, what was Zika doing at the mall a bit close to her house, oh yes it's a famous mall so anyone could come here but why would it be now she's with her mom?
Zika had his hands stretched out for a handshake but Meg was completely lost in his charm and in her thoughts. Her mom had to clear the air before she came back to her senses and shook his hands in a rather absurd way.
She blushed as she tried taking her face off so she doesn't look at him and Zika smiled. He greeted her Mom and told her that he was Meg's school mate.
Seeing the blush on Meg's face, her mom knew something was going on between the two and so she invited Zika over for dinner which he accepted without hesitation.
Meg was completely lost, why did she meet a guy she's been avoiding all her life, yes she has a crush on him but she really can't stand talking to him. He's every girl's dream in school and so she was trying to avoid dating him.
Meg didn't say a word to her mom as they drove home. Her hands and feet trembled as she unpacked the goods from the car to the house.
"What am I going to wear", she muttered as she went to see her wardrobe. She was already dizzy after series of thoughts ran through her mind she felt uneasy and slumped into bed. She woke up with a fever and at that time, Zika was already present at her house.
She was so clueless as she walked with very messy hair to the living room, her eyes met with zikas and he gave a smile. She covered her hands on her face as she ran off to her room.
When she got out again, dinner was set and they all ate cheerfully. Meg was quiet and stealing gazes at Zika till she sneezed unknowingly.
"What's wrong with you Meg darling" asked her dad, "I think it's Christmas fever said Meg and bent her head" as she blushed. Her dad and mom laughed and told her she needed to see a doctor but she knew her doctor was sitting right in front of her face and then she blushed again as her mom whispered "Christmas fever indeed".
