How To Compare For Best Processor During Buying Any PC or Laptop?...
Hii Steemit Friends !!!! This is Tejas and today I'm going to tell you how to select best processor during buying any new laptop or PC.
My last discussion was based on various Processors and their types of Architectures and now this module will let you understand about Intel core processors.
So let's begin....
1)What are Generations?
As the name indicates, Generations referred to the term modification. Here in terms of Processors , modification will leads to making size small but storing data large.Intel also do this same thing with their Processors.
Every year Intel decreases the size of transistors placed on its Processors and on the same line increases their number on their Processors. Before 2-3 year Intel transistors size varies from 20-30nm.
This year is recorded that Intel decreases the transistors size to 14nm.As the transistors size decreases, power consumption also decreases.
Hence during selecting any Intel processor, select the latest generation.
(Ex.Intel i5 6th generation)
2)What are Clock pulse?
Clock pulse or we can say that CPU frequency are the terms related to the speed of processor.Time required for completing particular operation is depends on the clock cycles of the processor.Lesser the CPI (Clock Cycle Per Instruction) Faster is the processor.
The clock pulse rate increase as the model number increases.Hence during selecting if you have Intel 4500H and 6500H then definitely 6500H have lower CPI than 4500H.
3)What is Hyper-threading ?
Hyper Threading basically refers to the concept of parallelization. This concept is used for increasing multitasking and parallel computing. In the hyper Threading enabled processor , Operating system consider the double number of cores . Basically If you have **Dual core ** processor then in hyper Threading , operating system allocate the work load to the extra virtual cores. This will leads to the performance of Quad core in Dual core also.
4)What is Over Clocking?
Over clocking is a concept of increasing clock frequency manually. This concept is enabled in some products of Intel and allow user to increase the Clock frequency in some point differences. This is done by using a dedicated motherboard.Due to over Clocking you can set the performance of your machine to desired setup.
5)Intel core i3
This Processor gives you Dual cores with Hyper Threading enabled in which OS will give the performance of Quad cores. This Processor will be useful for normal users which performs their day to day offices works related to excel , PowerPoint ,etc.At some extent it will be useful for Game playing.
Here also as the model number increases, the clock pulse and Generations also increase.
(Ex.Intel i3 4500H ,Intel i3 6500H)
Here in above example 4 in 4500H indicates _4th Generation and 6 in 6500H indicates 6th Generation.
[4th Generation]
[6th Generation]
6)Intel core i5
In this Processor ,you are going to see two models,
One for laptop and other for PC .
In laptop processor is dual core processor enabled with Hyper Threading and the PC Processor is Quad Core but it doesn't support Hyper Threading.
This Processor is generally used for High graphics gaming if you uses the average graphics card and also for Photoshop purpose.
7)Intel core i7
In this Processor you are going to see 3 model in which for laptops you have choice for Dual core and ** Quad core ** also. And in PC you have Dual core ,Quad core And Octa core also. Hyper Threading is enabled in all.
Generally this Processor is useful for some extra High end works such as audio video editing and High class gaming like GTA 5.
So guys This is all about the today's technical discussion. What you think about it please share with me in comments section .I hope you all like this post.
So Thank You once again........
