My friend always tells me I have no worries in this life, maybe because I'm always smiling and puting on a happy face but I never fail to let him know that I have things that borders me, things that most times keep me depressed to a core.
As times goes on I have been able to find happiness even in the least expected things you can imagine but then I still get a little reality check again once in a while.
Few days back I just started crying over what my life would have been if I had taken a certain step while growing up, like being a bit more outgoing and outspoken, being more approachable and supportive towards others.
Watching movies has been one of my stress relief pills for a long time now, being in the moment most times makes me realise that life is bigger than just sulking and being in bed all day.
One thing I realised about staying positive is by not being shaken off by anything and this came about when I realised the fact that whatever happens in life, there is always a solution or another way around it.
When I was in the university, I always met up with deadline of any assignment given, and test and examination and even classes, i am always present, if there is even a slight possibility of me not being able to do those things, I worry and stress or even bore my eyes out with tears.
The funny thing about all these is that, I might even end up failing that course after everything. Today, looking back I realized life is more than all those stress, so I have decided to live my life right at my own pace without thinking about any negative consequences from an external body.
I have decided to look everyone and every situation as though they are not too big to be approached or talked to.. I'm still working on it though.
Till today, I still have the trauma of being rob of some of my earthly belonging which was indeed painful but nevertheless I still stand strong knowing that I have family behind me who is always ready to stand by me both in thick and thin.
With the robbery experience, I always try to enjoy every bit of life. Today,I'm learning how to live fully because i know, that day would have been a different story if they where to do something other than stealing my belonging.
