$PEPE seems to be aiming for the award of the most enterprising memecoin of the year as it breaks $1Billion market cap today and now ranks in the top 50 cryptocurrencies in just less that 2 months since its debut. Its performance in the last month got the whole crypto space talking and this whole serenade reminds me of $Shiba Inu and $SafeMoon which were some of the top memecoins in the last bull market.
Of course the hype is quite serious on $PEPE for several reasons and I'm not gonna lie it's tough not hopping on this. It was abit shocking watching it double its price earlier today but technically hopping on it when it was 160% up would have been a pretty bad time to buy in especially from my experiences with Fomo and so I kept my cool even with the pressure and decided I'd buy in with a clear head.
One of my plans for the bull market was to have invested in some solid projects and also gamble on a few memecoins because of their carzy performances in the bull market. The plan is to pull out of them just when the bull market is at its peak and I really wasnt expecting memecoins to become relevant bu this time but sometime next year just after the Bitcoin halving. But here we are, and I think its about time I started getting involved with some of these memecoins, again not as investments, but just a gamble as anything could happen and since we're still far from a bull market, I do have a good feeling about $Pepe.
Memecoins are an exciting part of crypto, they show just how possible it is for a crypto to move from being unknown to becoming one of the most talked about project and also how crazy things could get in this space. However, as life-changing as they could apprear I don't regard them as viable investments especially with the tonnes of memecoins already created that are specifically created to rug pull and scam people in the space. Anyone willing to get involved with them should do their research, put in money they are okay with losing and regard them as a gamble.
