"Time is Money" is probably the most famous saying on the planet which brings Time And Money together. It's a simple saying thats shows the relationship between both entities but how exactly do both relate?. I saw the 2011 Sci-fi movie, In Time, and it is the only movie on the planet that I know of that has actually given us a close representation of how time and money relates. You'd probably have a totally different perspective of time and money after seeing the movie and also think twice about wasting both.
Time And Money are one of those things with so much value that almost no human can live without. We all have some fixed time allocated to us and we can't increase our time no matter what but can harness the time of others by paying for it. So you actually gotta have the money to harness other people's time to increase the time you have access to and to make more money.
Money as we know it is anything that be earned by using our time to work and then spent to live a better life. It's simply what we get get for offering services with our time.
Time as I see it is more valuable than money. Money can be made easily by giving your time for a wide range of services, but its kinda tough to get someone would allow you harness their time unless they feel you're paying very well for it.
The relationship between money an time has been changing in recent times particularly since the beginning of the crypto era. There was a time where you had to work for decades to earn a certain amount of money, but these days, you can make the same amount of money by just flipping Nfts in a couple days or keeping some cryptos. Yes, the money you get is as a result of the time spent but time has changed and we now know that we can make so much money by just investing our time properly.
So which needs more focus?
Every minute spent is gone for life and can never be gotten back which is one reason why I think Time is so valuable. But the attention on both of them needs to be balanced. Personally, I focus more on time these days than money and its been really helpful. I try to do the most with the time I have and don't focus much on the money aspect. Of course that may change in the future but both have my full attention and I'm careful about how and who I spend them with.
