Recording transactions and tracking assets have been made cost effective and secure using a shared, distributed ledger known as Blockchain. Tangible assets like land, car, money, land, etc and Intangible assets like patents, intellectual property, branding or copyrights can be traded on blockchain thereby cutting cost and reducing risk.
The blockchain technology is empowering and cannot be stopped by anyone. It is a technology where individuals have complete control and power over their own assets. You will not find information or talk shows on blockchain and how it empowers individuals. This is because the real gold mine is hidden among programmers on Steemit, Github, Reddit, Twitter, Medium and Gitter.
Programmers who have a complete understanding on how to start a blockchain company are quitting their jobs and diving into the reinvent industry. While we may hear of scams and failed systems, I strongly believe that blockchain technology is the future of commerce, governments and civilization.
