A very good example of pessimism is the typical attitude that everyone knows about the level of water in a glass. The pessimists will affirm that the glass is half empty. In general, the pessimistic people will wait for their lives as well as for their future that everything goes from bad to worse. In the imagination of a pessimist everything always comes to a negative end, it does not matter if you are asked about a close examination or about the fate of the world.
Pessimism is a vicious circle, because these individuals reaffirm their point of view day by day, since they find even more evidence and new negative aspects that explain why their lives are so bad. This could be seen in the form of financial problems or as personal issues that have occurred. And every new problem that occurs is a proof of the validity of being dissatisfied with your current situation.
Starting from this point of view, I really want to clarify that negative-minded people of course feel happiness and joy like everyone else. But those moments last a short time because the negative thoughts are firmly rooted in your thinking and reach the depths of your mind.
One of the main reasons to be pessimistic is the fear of disappointment. For a person with a negative mind, it is much easier to believe in the occurrence of a negative event than to be painfully disappointed if what you expect for something is not fulfilled.
As I mentioned earlier, pessimism can be a dangerous circle, since it prevents people from developing themselves towards more positive beings. An individual can start from a certain point in his life not to rely more on his own abilities and will not dare to look for solutions for difficult tasks and problems, therefore he will not even try to face them. Pessimists prefer that nothing changes in their lives instead of taking on new challenges.
