Men with good character have always been remarkably successful. Like Thomas Edison whose inventions changed the world, or Gandhi who achieved Indian independence through nonviolent civil disobedience, or perhaps Mother Teresa of Calcutta who chose to do social work, they all had one thing in common: they were all people who had a great character.
Character is the magical ingredient that distinguishes you from the rest. Our character will determine our success and each of us has the capacity and the potential to develop and strengthen their character.
Character is a potpourri of many qualities such as honesty, integrity, reliability, diligence, loyalty, compassion, sincerity, attention, determination, trust, etc. All these traits and many more summarize the character of each one.
We all have character. It is our character that defines who we are and what we will become. Some people may have developed some qualities that differentiate them from the rest. While character has much to do with the mental and ethical traits that make a person, it actually refers to the unique qualities that are incorporated into the life of an individual that establish their reaction despite their circumstances.
