My father was a veteran of the Vietnam War, he was awarded several medals in his time of service such as the sharp shooter's medal, fire crew chief, the purple heart and many other medals, badges and ribbons. A couple of years ago he was told he had only six months to a year to live. When Veterans Day came around my wife and I wanted to get him something unique, I was searching for something different when I came across the company 'Leadslingers’ The whiskey is produced by seven combat veterans, from the US Army Rangers, USAF TACP, Special Forces, and Paratrooper communities. I ordered a bottle from a vender and had it shipped, the bottle came with a nice story about vets rising above it all. My father loved his gift and displayed it proudly but his health took a turn for the worst and he passed before he got to drink any, I have the bottle in my refrigerator waiting for the anniversary when the family gets together and we will crack the bottle open in dads honor.
