I hear this famous dialog every now and than from a many people, But this is not really in my case.
started a IT career/JOB which I thought I was loving .. and started putting all my energy & efforts to my first project to prove my self and get a permanent role [Their is nothing called permanent job in IT].
After slogging of 6-8 months I really got a satisfaction answer that I have be on a company pay role[ Waaaaa !!]. It happens with all new-comers that they really think getting on pay role will be one of main things that they need in their job.
But the reality is we are just a source of profit earning to the company. They really do not care much about their employee. After getting on pay role I started slogging more and more , many times I forgot their is a outside world to enjoy other than the 9 – 9 job. I completely forgot the power of internet as I was working in non IOT projects.
Within a span of years IT world changed. New revolution came in the internet, from basic HTML to Node which made all web developer much more easier and quick to optimisation the web-content and from traditional server to Cloud storage, and very most important topic is analytics and Artificial Intelligence which will really change the world. In H/W side also from brick size phone till blazelless edge design, from PAL to OLED to touch screen seamlessly things are growing.
Just to wrap up , never stuck or be in one JOB for quite a long time it is nothing more than a sticking with stinking JOB.
You will end-up with losing all your creative by doing the same JOB again and again where you will never learn new things.
Be creative, every day keep learning one or the other new things, experiment it with your current role and make it more productive.
