I see your point friend about Donald Trump, and it reminds me of a conversation I witnessed, few weeks ago where his name came up. It didn’t take long before the discussion stopped being about ideas and turned into people defending or attacking him personally. What stood out was how he seems to pull people into that reaction cycle strong opinions, quick responses, little reflection.
As if Trump cares.
In that sense, I agree he feels more like a reflection of the current climate than the root cause. He thrives in it, but he didn’t create it alone. The bigger issue is how easily public discourse shifts from thoughtful conversation to emotional reactions, especially when figures like Donald Trump dominate attention.
