Hi guys how are you all? I hope you are all doing great. So guys today I am back again with a new Splinterlands review. So let’s get started.
Today the Splinterlands monster I am going to talk about is Archmage Yabanius.
It is a Legendary Neutral Monster that was introduced in 2025 as the 7th Anniversary Promo Card. You can find it in Standard Alchemy and Legendary Conclave Arcana packs.
The interesting thing about this monster is that it is not mainly made for dealing damage. Its main purpose is to support and empower your team.
Now let’s talk about its abilities. This monster has five abilities and they are really amazing.
The first ability is Camouflage.
This ability makes it difficult for enemies to target Yabanius while other friendly monsters are still alive. This is a very useful ability because you can keep Yabanius safely in the backline and it becomes much harder for the enemy to reach it.
The second ability is Empower.
This ability increases the health of your friendly monsters. This makes Yabanius a really good support monster because it can make your whole team stronger and harder to defeat.
The third ability is Shatter.
This ability helps break the enemy's armor. When Yabanius attacks an enemy with armor it can destroy that armor and make it easier for the rest of your team to deal damage to its health.
The fourth ability is Stun.
When Yabanius successfully hits an enemy it can stun that enemy. A stunned enemy cannot attack for that round which can be very useful during an important battle.
And finally we have its fifth ability Relentless Strike.
This gives Yabanius an additional offensive effect against certain defensive abilities and makes it more effective when attacking.
Yabanius performs really well as a backline support monster. Because of Camouflage you can place it toward the back of your lineup where it is much harder for the enemy to reach. At the same time its Empower ability can benefit your entire team.
There are also some interesting strategies with this monster. One example is pairing Yabanius with Abyssal Elemental. The Empower ability can make your team more durable while the combination can also work very well with the Elemental's damage. Meanwhile Camouflage helps keep Yabanius protected in the backline.
Another interesting thing about this monster is that it is extremely rare. Splinterlands originally listed only 1500 Regular Foils 30 Gold Foils 5 Black Foils 5 Gold Foil Arcanas and 1 Black Foil Arcana.
And that one-of-one Black Foil Arcana Yabanius is especially rare and valuable for collectors.
So overall I think Archmage Yabanius is a very interesting monster. It may not be the strongest damage dealer but its support abilities can make a big difference to your whole team.
