Well Hello There Hivers And Gamers!
The last post I made about The Witcher 3 I started the base game only but since then a friend of me said I can borrow his GoG account which has both expansions on them so that I don't have to go out and buy the expansions but still get to play them!

So since then I did restart the game and played it until I was there were I left off. To my luck I didn't play very far into the game otherwise it would have been somewhat of a bitch to get where I was.
I also chose to start the game over on an even higher difficulty, so I am expecting a much bigger challenge in completing the story line this time around!

The Witcher 3 Saga
Let's dive in where we left off last, on our way to White-Orchard where I was to get information about Yennefer at the local inn/tavern.
But first look at these amazing white orchard trees in full blooming! Even thought the country side is a war torn mess it's still able to carry some beauty in it all!
White-Orchard Inn
Upon arriving at the inn in White-Orchard we were most definitely not a welcome sight to most of the folks staying at the inn. We did our best to ignore the slandering comments and went on about our business asking a couple of the more friendly faces around if they perhaps had a glance at Yennefer going about in town.
Undoubtedly I met a few people that would change the course of the game for me. Well must be.
Gwent The Card Game.
I learned a thing or two this time around, I met a scholar who is from the Academy of Novigrad and he seemed more than willing to teach me a thing or two about Gwent, actually he was very eager to do just that!
Well I'd be lying if I said that he actually showed me something. I kind of had to figure it out by myself, I think it's better in that manner, but I am glad I gave it another shot because I gained some real worth the while knowledge around the card game. Even though I did lose.
Gwent ain't just about slapping cards down!
Unhappy Townsmen And Peasants
Earlier I mentioned some unhappy folks spending their time at the inn. I should have known they were up to something the moment I noticed that they weren't inside the inn anymore.
Games and schemes done out of spite often end good for the giver.
Needless to say these unhappy folks waited outside for me, I should rather call them thugs and whoreson's because that's just exactly what they are, isn't it?
Challenging the old wolf to a fist fight?
Seems rather unethically stupid, doesn't it?
Noticed how they stood by idly and did nothing while I beat there scum brother?
Well now I turned my attention to them or rather they turned to me when the first scum fly dropped.
Somehow thinking they can both make a difference?
Imagine.
Swinging those fists from yesterday morning.
The First Real Threat
I mentioned in the intro of the post that I chose the more difficult version of the game. Well it was when I challenged this Warg and it's wolf pack that I realized just how hard it would actually be!
Granted they are level 5 and myself is still level 2 if I am not mistaken. So perhaps I should be warry of what and who I challenge as to not lose a fight.
Easier said than done, for sure.
I barely escaped with my life I also used up all my rations to gain some health back during the fight.
The Captain Of The Black Plates
After barely surviving the attack from the Warg and it's wolf pack I finally reached the Nilfguardians encampment placed upon the hill. No doubt it doesn't look like much of a fortress, well it isn't really but it's well manned and would be a struggle to retake since it has high ground!
Now let's see if there is any bounty on this Griffin that is harassing the small villages!
The Exchange Of Favours
The captain of the black plates, well he seemed more of a douch than he really was, and I was expecting all the black plates to be scummy soldiers. Turns out they favour order more than anything, perhaps why they are waging war to get order going in the realm, real order!
He didn't want to give me information regarding Yennefer at first, until he heard I might be able to slay the Griffin lurking about in the area. I suppose a favour for a favour would be in a orderly fashion?
I got two leads from the captain, one was to speak to a hunter not far from the woods where the Griffin was first spotted and the other was that some herbalist at the edge of some abandoned town can help me in finding some herbs to lure the Griffin.
Gotta head off to seek them out!
Valuable Information
The hunter seemed to be spot on with his information. I was able to find the nest of the Griffin where I discovered the reason as to why the Griffin was so actively attacking peasants and soldiers alike. They killed it's partner and that was no doubt a grave error from the side of the Nilfguardians.

The Bonus In The Honey Pot
Well I was fooled and tricked by the bees of the forest. The Old Wolf Geralt had a fancy for some honey and well turns out the methods used to remove the beehive from the tree led to being stung a couple of times.
Attack of the bees, No doubt I couldn't retrieve the honey. It fell from the cliff side.
