Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
Oh What A Gem!
I'm sure most has seen something related to Valheim on Hive over the last couple of months!
Trust me it looks a lot more boresom than it actually is! There is some sense of achievement and some sense of fulfillment when you actually figure out how to do something!
Games like those are the best by far!
A couple of weeks ago I saw @Enjar jamming it out in Valheim and I just thought to myself heck I have to get back into that!
Why'd I ever leave in the first place right? I mean it was exactly what I looked for, I just seemed to forget I had it.
It's day 20 but don't ask me where I got the gear, I'm not sure if this is the basic loot spawn nowadays but the last time I played this you had grind from rocks and twigs, you didn't get nothing for free.
Yes, I Do Have A Plan.
This time it doesn't involve trying to cut my way through everything, no this time I want to have some role playing action. I found that as I grow older I just want more peace in the games, laughs!
So on the flattened piece of land I am going to build one massive end game mead hall, or something of the sorts. The plan is set although I have no idea of what would I'd actually be creating. Although the plan is to convert this entire area into some sort of a town!
That could be cool right?
From Meadhalls To Harbours!
I am going to want it all! One big thriving boat army as well! Hopefully the storms wont come knocking those ships out of the water!
Once I've really set the meadhall up I'll start working my way down to the lake, but this is going to be one hell of a big project! Larger than I think it will be, countless hours of hitting stone and wood will be going into this little conquest of mine!
Chopping Efficiently!
Let's get to it then ey? The work that needs doing wont be getting done by itself!
I am hitting these trees left and right and at the very least if you use the trees to help break down the other trees the entire process is a little sped up as well.
Careful though, don't let them trees fall down and crush you underneath them. That tends to sting!
I also started clearing out the side of the forest that is closest to where I am going to be building, makes it easier when you do want to clear out the space.
The Current Mead Hall
Well that is a piss poor excuse for a mead hall but it serves very well for what I mean to use it, as a wagon. A wagon to stash all of the resources I mean to collect in!
Upon such a time that I feel I now have enough and can start building a stone cutter. Mind you I do think I can build one with the Bronze I made. Might just be.
If indeed I can build the stone cutter I will need to farm up some heavy stones first, I will need a great deal of stone!
Marking It Out.
This time I won't be the dumber fool, no I will be the wiser one! Laughs!
I started pinning out every little detail I notice, oh a cave there and a trolls nest over there! Be sure to remember where to return to for those goodies right!
Especially the gold the trolls carry and the valuables the caves hold!
Although this is but a drop in the pool of what this map is.
I Think The Plan Is Fitting.
The only thing that keep popping up in my head is, how damn long is this going to take. Because it's going to take months if not longer. Perhaps not, mayhaps I'll have it done sooner than I think, although I am doubtfull to say the least. I'm just trying to be realistic since this is going to be a huge learning curve that I am planning on taking here.
I shall have my kingdom!
Not A Starry Background.
I did want to get that nice starry background but morning just hit up and I thought the early morning mist would serve just as good!
Hopefully I don't have any raiders lurking about and ready to gut me up and feed me to the pigs!
For now it's back to farming it up, hopefully by the next episode I can have the foundations down and ready to start cladding the building up.
Sheesh I hope so, I have to squeeze in some fun too!
