Things are really getting out of hand there with the gun laws...

I am neither against kids handling guns nor pro for it, I believe that when kids or people in general get the right education around guns as well as growing up with the right morale values there wouldn't be any problem... also having control over your emotions is also a big thing to consider!

Us South Africans have a deep love for hunting and shooting in general and we hardly deal with all that... not sure how to phrase it? Gun law violence crap?

I'm not sure where you stand with it but taking guns away from people who aren't mentally all fit up there wont stop them from harming people... they'll just do it more brutally like with a knife or a hammer...
