Well Hello There Travelers And Hivers!

It's been sometime since we last visited the Mimosa Mall in Bloemfontein. If I think about it it has probably been around five good years since I last saw the inside of it.

It's clear that they did some major renovations to the entrance and everything, made it look really modern and classy in a way.

Well me and the Betty as always just jumped in the car and drove around until we found a nice place to stroll through or just some place in general that would be befitting to keep us busy until we were bored enough to find something fun to do at home. Laughs Laughs it sounds bad I know but sometimes you just got to have unexpected journeys!

This was one of those unexpected journeys on that on a Wednesday night as well!

Euro Cafe

We decided to take a stroll through the colossal shopping centre in hopes of finding a nice coffee shop, needless to say there were quite a few of them. But we decided on going with Euro Cafe because both of us have never experienced any of there drinks or servings!

What better place to pick?

It was located in the food court along with most of the restaurants, we decided on a seat inside the restaurant rather than outside. We are a shy bunch and most of the people were chilling outside. I do think that we should have sucked up our shyness and also participated in the outside seats, it gave some nice atmosphere being able to watch out the big windows into the night life, the lighting was also a vibe. A good atmosphere beats any!

We both ordered coffee's that suited our needs and while we waited for the drinks to be served I took some random photo's of stuff standing around on the tables. 馃槀 Such as the salt and pepper and balsamic vinegar with olive oil. Cliche wont you say? Boredom brings out the most random of thoughts!

I mentioned earlier that the lighting was a vibe, it certainly was no doubt! All those small and big lights compared with the shining shades of white and yellow gave some sort of fantasy vibe to it all. As if we were having a cup of coffee in the medieval times (Hard to explain but I see it) Almost like a warm shadowy feeling? Ah whatever that makes no sense!

The Servings Came

Finally our drinks came. Myself ordered a Irish Cream Latte/Frappe whatever they call it and the Betty got herself a Caramel Cream Latte/Frappe again whatever they call it. I'm not big on formalities, just bring me the damn coffee with milk and sugar and I'll be as happy as a mouse in milk.

Worth to mention I completely forgot that the Irish cream meant having whisky in! Laughs I was more than glad to have chosen that. I wasn't the biggest fan of the cream on top of the coffee, but the Betty informed me that it was my own damn fault for picking a frappe or latte 馃槣

The Next Visit Will Be For The Wine

They had a quite cool looking wine rack, they certainly made use of the space using the wine rack as a divider for a table that looked a lot like one meant for VIP's but it wasn't really although it looked like a nice place to sit. (It was mostly secluded, and for us shy bunch it would do well)

So yes for the next visit to Euro Cafe it would most likely be for the wine and the sugar coated croissants or honey and sugar coated croissants.

For the fist time visiting I was quite satisfied with everything. The service was great as well as the quality of the servings we got. It was more than a great place to spend our boredom time at.

High Ceilings

Now I'm no architect of any sorts, but I do fancy architecture when it comes down to a good design. High ceilings are surely of my favourite. Why I just don't know, perhaps it gives the majestic feeling of walking into a palace? Or in this case it looks a lot like something one would see on a cruise ship, come to think of it now. I've never been on a cruise ship so I'm using assumptions over here! But damn it gave some powerful feeling and the random placements of the lights really added to that!

This was smack dead centre of the food court and this was also revamped when they did so with the main entrance. So this was also newly added since I last visited.

Mr. Spaceman

Now I wonder I wonder if that helmut would be sold along with the outfit! Definitely something that I would wear to a Halloween party or just a dress up occasion. But without the helmut that outfit would look awfully boring. Laughs come to think of it now I don't even know why I took a photo of it? But I do know that I found it pretty cool that night, perhaps for the fact that one doesn't see an actual pilot helm everyday of the week ey.
