**Hi there fellow Steemians**
Today I took the chance to drive around town actually outside of town looking for nice places to get some nice photos.
I decided to go to a place called stuck in the mud where people usually go to do 4x4 on a Sunday or where the off road bikers meet up and rip some dirt out.
I tried getting some snapshots of both landscape photo's and close up photos, I can already see how this will be a daily adventure for me.
I did edit the photos a little bit using a free app called pixlr available on the Google play store and I have to say I am quite impressed with how most of them came out hehe the app makes me feel like I can take great photos but in reality it's only the color change making them look so great.
Now I have to say I am quite happy with the picture taken below. It came out alot better than I anticipated, after all its just a road leading up to a hill. Although the red sand along with the little patch of blue sky and white clouds does give it a nice effect.
An old tree stump rotting away in the wind and the rain. You can't see it in the picture but it's right next to an old fireplace built with stone. Come to think of it I should have tried getting both into the same picture.
Sofar my favorite landscape photo taken today. It was just outside of town, it use to be a building rubble dump hence making a really nice off-road playground, I've played here myself a few times. I love the cloud that looks like the wind is blowing it away.
This I have to say is my favorite close up of today. I saw this dead tree bark laying there and I thought this could maybe make for a nice photo and indeed it did. Although I did struggle to get the right angle for this one but I think the crack in the middle with the trees and the sky in the background was the perfect placement for it.
If only there could have been a insect or something walking over it.. That would have put the cherry on top of the cake.
