Microsoft's foldable device, the Surface Duo, promises to be a good contender in the smartphone market.
The biggest advantage is the choice to go with the Android platform, which means more access to a larger variety of apps. Maybe it will come with a free Microsoft Office suite.
From the images and videos out there, it looks like a sleek design that will appeal to many. The entry price at over 1,300though might end up locking out many from accessing the unique device.
It borrows a lot from another device that Microsoft shelved before release, called the Microsoft Courier. The concept was a pen-based foldable device meant to be released back in 2009.
