New Samsung Galaxy Note 9
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is not exactly a secret: it has already been approved by Anatel and had the details of the sPen with Bluetooth revealed, even with a launch event scheduled for August 9. Now the ad pieces of the upcoming Samsung flagship are also being produced: a full-page ad reveals the back of the new phone.
The image was released by Forbes and obtained from a person identified as Ice Universe, the same source leaked in advance true photos of the Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S9 in the past. This time a full page ad shows the slogan “The new super powerful Note” along with a blue Galaxy Note 9 and a golden sPen – both colors were used in the Samsung invitation.
The announcement reveals that the Galaxy Note 9 should bring few design changes: it continues with the 3.5 mm headphone jack, it will have a curved rear side, The USB-C type connection with a dual camera setup. It is believed that the device will be a bit thicker (and heavier) to house a larger battery, but it is not possible to notice this detail in the image.
A welcome novelty is that, as with the Galaxy S9, the fingerprint reader is in a more convenient position for the user, centered and underneath the rear camera lenses. The detail ends up confirming that the Biometric sensor integrated into the display should stay the same for the next time – probably for the Galaxy S10.
Also, we can see the golden S Pen in the image. Even with Bluetooth connection, the look is very similar to that of previous Samsung notes: there is a thin point to write and draw on the screen; a side button to trigger software tricks.
