Quicktime recording ERROR - SteemTechShow #9 delayed by 1 day :(
Here at TechCoderX, I make sure that every video that I release to DTube are the best quality possible. However, today as I edit my show, I saw this:
What happened?
For some reason, the Quicktime recording went bust after I talked about Steemhunt's new reputation system, and the error occurred during a transition. Luckily, the screen and the audio was recorded separately using a real MacBook, so it's possible that I can just remove the webcam recording of the face without affecting the context of the video.
Now I have 2 options:
- Cut the footage and show only the screen (with audio) from where the error occurred
- Record the show again (where the error occurred).
I have chosen option 2, which means episode 9 of SteemTechShow have to be delayed by 1 day. Don't worry, I will re-record the overall crypto market overview as well, so that you can get the latest information.
Apologies for this incident and the delay caused by this recording error. It is clear that the current setup of recording the face with my webcam through my hackintosh isn't a reliable solution, however I do not have an actual camera on hand (not even a smartphone camera). Currently I'm saving up for a decent DSLR so that I do not need to rely on a separate computer to record (which is the culprit of errors), and being able to deliver higher quality videos to you.
