😱How I lost $10 USD in Bitcoin Cash in a payment error 😱 Message to crypto newbies 😉(UPDATE - REFER TO COMMENT SECTION)

So when I tried to pay for a VPN for my home IPFS node, I just made a payment error that I don’t understand, and I lost $10 USD in Bitcoin Cash :(

Just to be safe when not using a payment protocol like BitPay’s BIP-70:

1. Send the smallest amount possible to check that everything works.
2. Don’t send BCH to a BTC address (or vice versa). Make sure you triple check 😉
3. NEVER submit payments directly from exchanges!
