The sound control that should be built into MacOS
. .. i pretty much own nearly every piece of software that roge amoeba make -- and yes, there software is that good -- another no brainer $10 piece of software is the sourcesource tray bar sound control, just straight there for setting up inputs and outputs and the real gamechanger is the ability to play thru to a set of headphones.
what i do with this is that make one of my outputs an input and then listen to that input as an output to my headphones -- this enables me then on the mac for obs hear everything making it easy then to do audio interviews giving me the ability to capture audio from any app that i use that as the input.
think of it like routing audio from one input to another, it's a great tool and it just works, which is what you need when you want your software to get out of the way! :)
