let's be honest we need better open source and more up to date software for cctv system setups. it's written in node and it's open for messing with, perfect for a local little network maybe on something quite lightweight hardware wise.

Shinobi is Open Source, written in Node.js, and real easy to use. It is the future of CCTV and NVR for developers and end-users alike. It is catered to by professionals and most importantly by the one who created it.
