think of steem right now as 4:3 and how subtle 16:9 became normal? we WILL have a sony trinitron moment! :)
Remember those?
How we kinda went from the 4:3 curved television set to the 100hz flat screen goodness of the sony trinitron, those things were fucking everywhere in the 80’s and it ushered a new way of consuming media, we had all this extra space either side of the screen in the native format of the way it was filmed anyway, additional information and SCENE setting for the viewer.
The steam blockchain is no different where as the edges of the originally shot footage only allowed a focal point for the viewer in a square 4:3 format now we see steem and it’s users taking that picture widescreen willing in the periphery with new frontends and communities.
What I’m saying is not only are we adjusting the frequency of consumption patterns but we are pushing a new way to consider using the internet and it’s many digital platforms — we are moving from low quality 4:3 QVC shopping channel saturated bullshit to full resolution, over the top lower thirds and border by border information for the neurallink connected infomatic digital blockchain warrior.
don’t be a CRT, go flatscreen.
