Hi @traciyork! Thanks for another PUD post - I'm getting ready to participate once again!

I have a question about Hive Basic Income. I only just properly figured out what this is and it seems like they are an awesome thing because they basically give a lifetime benefit in terms of post upvotes.

But I've only ever heard of them before as rewards on these PUM challenges - so I'm just wondering why they aren't used more commonly?
