THE SPIRITUAL TEACHERS
In our lives as Christians have you ever looked at things in this perspective for example a pupil or student without a teacher? If you have understood my angle then you’d know that every student or pupil must have a teacher in order to forge ahead in life and in class even though a student can learn his books without a teacher but him/she cannot certainly do it alone. Okay back to the need for a spiritual teacher, this is very much applicable here because we as Christians must certainly need a teacher of Christ to grow spiritually and in the understanding of God’s words. Most times we might even read the Bible with little or no understanding of it, just like how bro elisoriano told us that the Bible can be a complicated book to learn but with him as a spiritual teacher we able to understand the truth and put them perfectly into practice without twisting the Bible. Definitely as believers we can’t understand everything alone, we can put in personal efforts to grow spiritually but we still need a spiritual teacher to grow spiritually.
THE SPIRITUAL GURU
In this modern world, I sincerely have a problem with spiritual gurus reason might be the intellectual style or self styled pattern which can be very wrong.
As ‘Gurus’ they might have a self styled pattern which might be really necessary or even wrong, is as believers nigh even find it difficult to express ourselves more before spiritual gurus due to the fact that they are perceived as more superior and whatever view we air out can be very wrong to them but there are some who really have great qualities and can play a very significant role in our spiritual growth.
Me as a believer I feel more comfortable talking with a spiritual teacher and expressing myself because a spiritual teacher can really be anybody and they could be found anywhere, work places, home, village infact wherever you find yourself.
Unlike a spiritual guru which sometimes might be very difficult to even have access to especially this 21st century.
**SUMMARY **
As believers we really need a spiritual teacher, one who makes personal spiritual efforts easier for us achieve. I as a Christian cannot do it alone. I also sometimes might have a poor understanding of Gods word and will always be needing a spiritual teacher to clarify whatever confusion and teach me better of the word of God by doing this definitely I am having a beautiful growth spiritually. We all need a spiritual teacher to grow then as for spiritual guru, I really doubt the necessity, for I know that once we are taught in a better understanding of the word we are automatically growing spiritually @ecotrainquestionoftheweek
