Hello hivers ❤️, how you all doing and how is preparations towards new year.
Have been busy with school and my art and preparation for Xmas. But today I want to show you a piece of art I did for someone , it was urgent but also the work was not that interesting be cause the reference was not clear enough...

So small And not clear...
As usual I used the dry brush tecnique.
Firstly
- SKETCH
The sketch was quite easy cause no much detail was on the reference. I sketch with 3b pencils cause it's soft and. Easy to erase for corrections without leaving traces...
- BACKGROUND and SHADING
As always I do the backgrounds in other to make my drawíng more outstanding and also prevent the paper from getting stained if. I always Archive the background using a pancil (hb) and a tissue paper for blending, firslty I use the cross hatching shading tecnique then blend using the tissue paper.
I start almost every piece of art from the eyes the reason is because I always believe once get the eyes the other facial features will be easy for me to finish with.....
I Archieved the hair using the the charcoal pencil directly... The tools I used for this art work are just
- A pencil (4b)
- Charcoal powder
- Monk zero eraser
- Brushes
- Tissue paper...
After getting the fist shading done, I shaded over the first layer then added a charcoal powder over in other to archieve a darker tone and shading to make the artwork pop....
Making the frame
The cost for the framing was just $10 in cost.
The style used for this framing is not glass but texture. It's more like lamination instead of glass incase of impact on the frame , but all along I still prefer glass😊... The size for the framing is 12inches by 16inches...
So I guess this is the last pencil drawing for this year 2021....
