Me and Leyna had an adventure today at the local Nature Center in town that has many trails and activities for the kiddies to do. We decidied to eat lunch in the back of my car before our adventure started. The first stop was the actual conservation office where there are many interactive stations for the whole family. Leyna always loves to go to the kid play area that has animal hand puppets and a log stage. She instantly befriended another girl there and they put on quite the show!
After a sweet deceleration of friends parting ways, we were on our way to our trail walk!! Going down the trail for a 1/4 of a mile, Leyna decided she needed to use the restroom. So back up we went to the facilities so we could try our adventure again. After exiting the bathroom, we ran into her friend again. So we exchanged good byes again, and off we went. Leyna had to stop to visit her "tree house" to enjoy her favorite view.
We then made our way over the bridge up the hill to sat a spell on our bench.
Wildlife was out and about on this beautiful sunny day and we stopped and was amazed at the creatures who let us get real close to them...
Overall we hiked a little over a mile while Leyna used the Mama Express( on my back) for a third of the way. We had a Great time and hope to do it again soon✌🏻🌲🌿
