This matter is really close to my heart. In this part of the world, we stigmatize too much. Imagine someone telling their children not to play with another child that has SCD or polio. It's so stupid and unfair, especially because conditions like that are not the fault of the carriers. If we must have a just and equitable society, we must set aside our prejudices.
