I'm not sure if this is intended or a bug so I chose the suggestion category.
Comment section of post modal and post detail page are not consistent. And I don't think that makes any sense.
Post Modal (Opens when you click to post image)
Post Detail Page (Opens when you click to post title or text)
I think both should look like in the detail page.
Tested on Google Chrome Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 8.1 x64
