The Latin name of (tagetes) ,the plant is obliged to Carl Linnaeus, the Swedish doctor.He called marigolds in honor of Teresa – grandson of Jupiter.
Tages was just as beautiful as these flowers.
The tagetis has many varieties and types.My favorite variety is the low-growing"Antigua" F1 (20-25cm).Bush spherical shape,has many shoots, and a huge double flowers .This variety does not lose its decorative effect even in rainy days.Flower color from yellow to rich orange!
Unpretentious ,grows well in sun and partial shade.Prefers rich soil with humus.Responds well to watering with fertilizers.
