Wildlife Carousel

Good day, and have a good one

Today I will share a few shots of the Carousel in the Buttonwood Park Zoo here in New Bedford

Now I see it on most visits to the zoo, but often its open and kids are riding it, and in that case I do not take photos as I dont want some parent coming after me calling me a dirty old man.

NOw as for the three words Dirty old Man, yes I am a man, Old hmmm I guess thats a matter of opinion, some days I feel old and some days I feel or think I am young as I was in my twenties or thirties, admitedly in winter i think I feel old more days than young, but come on is 65 really old LOL

Well let me say probably when I was a teenager I would have thought 65 is way old so its a matter of perspective

and as for dirty. nope for sure I shower regularly ;)

But back to the carousel on one visit tot he zoo,, there was hardly anyone there and the carousel was not running so it was an opportunity to get some shots of it

the Wildlife Carousel, which has 18 beautifully handcrafted animals and a chariot for additional seating, opened in August 2010 thanks to a $350,000 loan from the Bristol County Savings Bank.

The Wildlife Carousel is ADA-certified, making it wheelchair accessible for children and adults.

and now some shot sof the animals/rides on it starting with what I am guessing is a hummingbird
