Sunrise at Neds Point

A while back I shared this post showing the Lighthouse at Ned's Point the morning I went there we also had a lovely sunrise and that will be the focus of this post.

I often post photos in the order that I took them for post, so my favorite shot is sometime sin the middle of a post, but I changed that for this post as this first image is my favorite the rich greens in the foreground to me highlight the colors of the sunrise that morning

Ned's Point is officially known as “Veterans of Mattapoisett Memorial Park,” and is a hub of recreational activity on the shores of Mattapoisett Harbor. here you can see the harbor, Buzzards Bay, Cape Cod, and the Elizabeth Islands, I have bene there a couple of times and plan to go again its a lovely spot especially in the early morning when very few are there it is so peaceful

As you can see there are lots of boulders and rocks around this area

And this is a shot in the car park there standing right by my car, and in editing this photo I had to edit out empty plastic bottles fast food trash and the like.
That's something that frustrates me when people leave a mess in beautiful spots like this, but let me tell you a funny thing, before I left I grabbed a plastic bag and cleaned up some of the trash, the funny thing is if I had done that before taking this photo I would not have had to edit them out in photoshop
