MY wife and I are kind of the opposite in this regard, she likes ot keep everything, I like to keep things to a bare minimum,
I think perhaps because for so many years I moved every year or less, and wanted to pack the bare minimum each time, I became perhaps over zealous and chucking things out, whereas my wife has always lived for relatively long periods in places
