I do love shots in the early morning looking over piers, and in many of my posts a shot of a pier will slip in, so for today I thought i would slip in a post all about piers, I go out often for early morning walks by the water and have bene trying so hard to not share to many early morning blues or sunrise posts that I haven't shared many at all so this weekend will be posts in the early morning starting with this one focused on piers
Starting with a shot taking on the Harbor walk looking down on the pier by Cisco Breweries

And this is the other pier behind Cisco breweries, the platform in the water wasn't there last year, my guess is they added it to allow people to pull up on boats so people can walk up the ramp and go the the restaurant.
Now one tip for those who do not go out to see sunrises often, a mistake I see many people make is they turn up to the spot such as this one just as the sun is rising and are somewhat disappointed that the colors aren't what they hoped for, well in part that is luck of the day as we never know what mother nature will share with us.
But more so its often the best colors are in the period from a few minutes to half an hour before the sun rises, same with sunsets, many as soon as the sun dips below the horizon pack up and leave often the best colors come a little while after the sun goes down
