Interesting features on a building
I went looking through my archives looking for photos I had not edited to use for this post and I came across these shots on a building on East 47th Street, Starting with this shot of a cool lamp with such a cool design on it.

That's one thing I did love about my walks I used to do around NYC, as much as seeing the well-known buildings and huge skyscrapers etc, it was fun just walking up and down along the various streets you never know what one can find if one is observant and looking around.
Which is something so many seldom do in NYC, all to often people were on a rush from home to work and never stopped to look around, I remember that being the save with one of my colleagues when I got shots of another Street light that was quite unique and I knew it was near where one of my colleagues lived and when I showed it to him he was impressed by it and when I told him the Adress it was on he was shocked as he lived in that building and had never noticed the lamp :)

and also on the same building higher up they had a few of these which I guess are dogs heads looking out from the building, not sure if I think they are cool or freaky
