For this post I am sharing some shots taken on a walk down by the port, and these were a few weeks ago I am glad to report the snow is all gone now.
These are from a couple of visits to the port one morning it was quite foggy and then the last couple of shots on a day with little fog.
Starting with a shot taken just beside my car ( which is behind me in this image), this is the spot I park in when I visit the port and a snapped this quick shot incase it was one of those morning when the fog just quickly disappears

But as it happens I did not have to worry about that, the day I took these first few images the fog stayed for the whole day, infact this was the weakest the fog was for the most of the day, by midday it got what some may call pea soup fog i.e. real thick and visibility was super short, literally just a few feet
But the bright red of the Nantucket light ship was still standing out even in the fog

Whereas the other commercial fishing boats were fading into the fog

So much so I had to do one of these images as a Mono edit, which I like the feel of for foggy images

Now onto another visit there on a clearer morning the reds of these boats was really eye catching

And a different viewpoint in the car park, where I was parked again this morning
