With the heat of summer pretty strong at the moment here and in many other parts of the country and the world for that matter, here we are in a drought as I showed on Saturday the ponds and river levels and very low in many places, the grass is so brown, in many parts of the world there have been raging bush fires, the worst on record, but yes tell me again there is no climate change, and I will stop there and not rant about that.
But I thought looking back and some of the shots I took in the cold of winter and thinking cool may be nice for todays post
Starting by the Duck pond in Buttonwood Park it may be hard to tell but not only is there snow on the ground but ice on the pond

Next up on East Beach, not to thick a layer of snow on the ground and plenty of footprints, I do remember them morning I took this walk, it was very chilly and my fingers were freezing at times
I do wear gloves in Winter, but I hate the feel of full gloves so I have fingerless so partially fingerless gloves ones, for two reasons, I find them more comfortable to wear, and that way I have my thumb and index ( or as I call it my clicking finger) free.
Now as someone pointed out recently in a comment back at this time I was looking forward to warmer weather and recently have bene talking about the heat here, I was thinking about that and I think in some ways I prefer the heat, as I can go out as I do for early morning walks before or as the sun rises and the temperature is quite pleasant, and since I am retired I can stay indoors and cool during the heat of the day, whereas in Winter, its cold all day long so no matter what time you go out for a walk your feeling the cold
