All in the name part 2

When I did a post on Boat Names All in the name, I did mention that I had plenty of photos of boat names and could do a second post.

and @silversaver888 I think it was mentioned she thought most boat names were female, and many of the boat names are indeed female and that is what I will focus on this post part two of its all in the name.
Most of these images were taken at the State Pier and Port here in New Bedford, but this first one was heading out on the bridge to Popes Island, one morning as the sun was rising, two boats in shot, the prospector in the background and the one I am more focused on Jenna Lee in the foreground.

I did try and see if I could find out how some of these names were chosen for these boats but I did see a post on farcebook where someone shared a news clip during the recent blizzard and that the boat in the background was names after the captains daughter ( well I say captain but it may have said owners daughter, or perhaps the owner is also the captain) but it wasn't any of the boats I am sharing in this post, but its quite possible some of these boats are named after family members

Next Up we have the ship Elizabeth and Nikki, and probably my favorite of the images in this post with the rich red of the boat and subtle reds in the sky in the background

And here we have Papa's Girl, now is the boat Papa's girl or name for one of his daughters? I guess I may well never know

And here we have the Debbie Ann out of Point Judith in RI but docked in New Bedford

Now this last one i guess the Ocean Scout is the center of attention, but it does have the Ruthie B in the background and I love that the water was so still I got a cool reflection here
