It doesnt matter. There is nothing to replace it. The entire financial world is on the dollar standard. A few hundred billion in trade is minor compared to the $4.5 trillion traded daily in the repo market.

That said, the Biden administration fucked up weaponizing it. But it wont matter. Every country needs USD.

When half the $350 trillion in global debt is USD denominated, a lot of people need dollars to make their payments.
