Without a doubt we should try to appeal to as wide an audience as we can. However, it is evident that most on here are crypto people, which is where their expertise lies. Is this a good thing? It is hard to tell.
On one hand, being framed as a crypto information center is not a bad thing; it is still a rather large market albeit not the biggest one in the world. Yet it could still offer up the potential of tens of thousands of users.
Of course, the entire financial landscape is much larger. So having content that appeals to a range of people is also important.
Quality in general should be a high-priority concern when it comes to curation now that manual curation has a chance to thrive after the flattening of the curve.
This is one of the most crucial pieces. Quality at every level is what we need to focus upon. When curating, we need to decide if this is a piece we want some of the heavy hitters from outside seeing when they first visit.
