The Truflation rate is down to 1.16%. It saw a massive drop since the beginning of December, when it was near the 2.70% rate that we see with the CPI.
We are going to be entering a massive deflationary period. People think this is a good thing but wages are impacted also. The biggest deflationary time in US history was the Great Depression. Life was not good for most people.
Jobs are cooked due to technology. It is deflationary which means jobs end up getting crushed. Where they are not, wages tend to see downward pressure.
