I view that as a prelude to the carbon nanofactory. The latter will literally takes atoms from the air to create what is needed.

The next 40 years are going to be very interesting for those who are alive for it. I probably wont make it without some radical life extension technologies but those in their 30s are going to be in for a wild ride.
