I tend to feel the same way. Value being held in yellow pieces of metal in a digital world makes no sense. Yes there will be a use case for it but it will not be like it has been.

We are seeing this play out in demographic shifts. Millennials do not view gold the same way. We need to remember it is almost 50 years since the gold standard was in play in the United States. These individuals grew up in a totally different monetary system.
