There is proposed legislation that the House is looking at that could move the oversight of stablecoins away from Gensler and the SEC.
In this video I discuss how the bill proposes to move this to the state banking and credit union regulators, and get the SEC out of it. This could gain some traction but will be a slow crawl like most things in Washington.
