Money is not everything in life. This is obvious. Having money does not mean one is happy. The list of those who are miserable while being well off financially are legendary.
That said, in the system we live in, not having money leads to a host of problems. The rates of negative stats among the poor far exceeds that of the wealthy. Substance abuse, domestic violence, and poor health occur at much greater rates among those with less money. The levels of unhappiness and pressures that people in this area face far exceed the norm.
The scarcity model is, in my view, designed to keep people in fear. The monetary system is at the core of our society. Not having the financial resources means people are disconnected from many of the benefits of society.
Naturally, the poor are not the only ones affected. We see most of society operating under this scheme. In the developed countries. the majority of individuals are struggling to keep their heads above water. Living from paycheck-to-paycheck has people boxed in. They are in fear to do anything since losing that income will have devastating results.
We are entering a new paradigm which is allowing us to drop this model. Since it is being replaced with abundance, we can cast off the fear associated with financial lack.
Fear is what allows the masses to be controlled. The pathway to freedom means this is going to come to an end.
Money is a social agreement. It is a representative agent for something else. The use of it provides shortcuts to a barter system. For example, a dollar can represent a certain amount of time for our labor. Or it can denote a certain amount of a particular commodity such as oil. In an economy, there are many factors which play into the value of a currency.
Cryptocurrency does the same thing. A token is a representative agent for something else. In its most basic form, it represents a stake in a network or ecosystem. Thus, it is a partial piece of the total value of the network.
Over the next couple of decades, we are going to see the value of what is produced increased dramatically. We are living in a global, interconnected, services world. As more of our lives become digitized, the innovation surrounding that is going to explode. Some are calling for a 10x in the global economy over that time.
Tokenization allows for everyone to share in what is taking place. Unlike the present system, which benefits a select few (the 10%), crypto-economics can benefit all. Presently, the rich get richer at the expense of everyone else. Under the new model, everyone will get richer at the expense of nobody.
Value is unlimited. There is infinite potential for creation. In the digital arena, there is no maximum. A prime example of this is music. When we are dealing with CDs, there is a limit to what can be stamped out. We also have to consider there is a limit on resources. With digitized music, the only limit is global memory which is expanding every year.
Taken to another level, virtual reality is going to create unlimited digital assets that will be bought and sold. Again, there is no limit to the amount that can be developed. Layer upon layer can be "manufactured". Unlike the physical world where there are limitation of resources such as land, in this we can just keep expanding and building value.
Naturally, this does not mean everything will have value. People are going to make that decision. The point I am making is that everyone is going to have the opportunity to share in this.
Tomorrow I am going to put up a post that should really excite and motivate everyone who reads it. For now, let me just state that the fear associated with finances should be diminishing among all who are on here. We are already operating under in a system that rewards our efforts and provides value to each of the stakeholders.
There are roughly 368,000 accounts with at least one SP in them. Each account represents a stake in this ecosystem. Each day, tens of thousands of people are putting more into this blockchain, thus growing the value of the ecosystem. While the pricing action is not reflective of what is taking place, it is only a matter of time.
And the best part is anyone with an Internet connection is free to participate in what is taking place. Nobody is excluded. It is open to any of the 3.5B people who are presently on the Internet.
Of course, SP is not the only token that represents value. We are seeing applications built which are being utilized by many. As their user base grows, and they add more features, some of those tokens could see increases also. For the same reason, the value of what is being created is virtually unlimited.
Fear is such a powerful weapon that is used against humanity. At the core of this is the financial system. I am aware of the fact that eliminating the fear surrounding one's financial state does not mean everything is rosy, it is a good start.
It is very difficult for people to be free when they operate under such financial pressure. Third world natures see the scarcity mean that survival is a constant struggle. In the developed nations, while poverty is at a much higher level, the result is still the same. The fear of what tomorrow will bring and there not being enough is used against people. In fact, it gets to the point where most use it against themselves.
In my own situation, I know my fear surrounding my financial future is rapidly disappearing. I know there is nothing to fear since a new paradigm is being erected. My delving into crypto-economics and how a tokenized world is going to change things really opened my eyes. Over the next decade, we are going to see millions of networks being constructed around many different ideas. Most of those will only have value to a small number of people operating in select groups. There are going to be some, however, that are very valuable to the masses.
Seeing what is coming should put everyone at east. Fear is nothing more than a weapon being used against us. The establishment has this by design. By delving into this arena, we are given the option of freeing ourselves from that plight. This is the path that is open to humanity. The question is do we take it.
For the time being, I am immersing myself in the fact that we are going to see an enormous amount of value created in ecosystems such as this one. Over time, that is going to filter out into all of society.
The future is much brighter for all.
