Things are starting to move at light speed around here. No sooner does one application do something before we see another update.
This was the case with @steempeak. They announced a few updates which I wanted to highlight, The biggest difference is the integration of SCOT applications into the interface. This is a really good idea which, according to them, is going to expand as more are added.
We start with the basic screen which now has an additional tab called "Tribes".
When you click on the Tribes Tab, here is what you see.
Here we click on the PALnet button and we are brought to the PALnet feed. Isn't it ironic that the first one on my feed as I took this pick is @jarvie.
Another very cool item that is handy is when I move my cursor over the payout of a post, notice how it shows both the STU and PAL earned on the post. This makes life a lot easier as compared to going back and forth between both sites.
Steempeak is one of my favorite interfaces possessing so many possibilities. It is good to see their quick adoption of the Steem-Engine based applications and showing them. This will make it a lot easier for people to find the different Tribes as they expand. Being able to navigate through them without having to open up a different tab is really separating this from the others.
One thing I am uncertain about is whether the upvotes placed using Steempeak while in the Tribe section will be use SP Voting Power or also include the PALnet VP. Perhaps one of the Steempeak team could answer that.
It is really fascinating watching all of this coming together. We are certainly seeing years of hard work paying off. As more is developed, the pace is only going to accelerate. It is abundantly clear that open source collaboration enables projects to work off instead of against each other. This is only going to enhance the entire ecosystem.
For those who have not yet tried Steempeak, I suggest everyone give it a try. It is really a nice looking interface with lots of sensational features. Compared to Steemit.com, it is rather feature rich.
