It is a joke. No vote counts. The only one who counts is the one counting the votes.

This all leads into the next phase which is loss of confidence in government. It reaches far beyond the political spectrum. Media integrity is shot except for the most blind of people.

All this was brewing for a while and will continue globally into the middle of this decade. This is not a US election situation, specifically, but an example of something much larger.

Look for investors to start shunning government bonds, as they are already doing in the EU. This is going to lead to defaults globally which will shift balances of power.

Watch the Eurozone and Middle East to lead the way. At the same time, watch the US drop a few more pegs while China holds serve, thus increasing their power on a global level.
